Stability (ASD) and strength (LRFD) checks for retaining walls have never been easier with CalcBook. ASD stability calculations based on IBC and LRFD strength calculations based on the ACI 318 concrete code. This module includes a dynamically updating summary image, and accommodates user-defined surcharge loading as well as seismic loads applied as rectangular, triangular, or inverse triangular distributed loads. Additionally, users are able to include a shear key in their designs, which is also checked for shear and bending if chosen.
